How much does it cost to import a car to Ghana?
It depends on the car, where it ships from and its age. The price on every Wabenzy Autos listing is all-in: the car, shipping, import duty and clearing at Tema, in cedis. For a car you found elsewhere, our Duty Check gives you the import duty in minutes, online or on WhatsApp.
Where do you source cars from?
From authorised dealerships in the USA, Canada, Dubai and China. We don't buy at auctions, and every car we sell is clean and accident-free. USA and Canada imports come with a free Carfax report.
Can I request a specific car?
Yes. Tell us the make, model, year, trim and even the colour you want, and we'll find it, buy it, ship it, clear it and deliver it to you.
What does your price include?
Buying the car, shipping it to Ghana, the import duty and clearing at the port. It's one figure, so there's nothing extra to pay when the car lands. The figure is approximate, because it depends on the exchange rate and on Customs' valuation.
Do you also help with car insurance?
Yes. We arrange third-party and comprehensive car insurance through our insurance broker partner. Get a quote here on the website, with one all-in price, and your certificate comes to your WhatsApp.
Can you track my shipment?
Yes. Enter your container, bill of lading or booking number on our tracking page and follow it to the port, stage by stage.
Can I check a car's history before I buy it?
Yes. Type its VIN or chassis number on our vehicle history page, see the car free, and get a report on accidents, real mileage, write-offs and owners.
